BATA SHOE MUSEUM: ICONS OF ELEGANCE

Icons of Elegance was conceived as the highlight of the Bata Shoe Museum's 10th Anniversary exhibition. The objective of the project was to display iconic and elegant masterpieces by the most influential shoe designers of the 20th century, a task that required rigorous curation under the direction of entrepreneur and philanthropist Sonja Bata.

Working closely with the client's team of curators, conservationist, builders, marketing staff, photographer, graphic designer and Mrs. Bata herself to determine the detailed requirements of the exhibit's program, a series of modules was choreographed to showcase the major designers selected, creating a cohesive experience without being thematic.
